<p>A bucking and wrapping gauge (20) suitable for installing windows is provided. The bucking portion of the gauge (20) provides a constant setback distance for a window buck relative to an outer edge of a window opening without using a ruler or other measurement tool. The setback distance is obtained using a bottom arm portion (12) and a face (11) perpendicular to the arm portion (12). The wrapping portion of the gauge (20) provides a constant wrapping distance that partially compensates for the thickness of the window buck so that it may be determined where to install an interior wall relative to a window frame so that a window wrap and the interior wall abut at a substantially right angle. The constant wrapping distance is obtained using a top arm portion (2), a finger (4) extending outwardly from the top arm portion (2), and an outer leg portion (5).</p> |
