PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience that a higher harmonic monitoring monitor influenced by excessive current flowing in a whole phase advance capacitor equipment to execute an abnormal operation by providing an input preventing means which temporarily prevents the detecting value of a current transformer for a high voltage feeder from being inputted to the higher harmonic monitoring monitor. SOLUTION: A power-factor adjusting device 7 outputs the makeup or open command of switches 61-63 in a phase advance capacitor unit required for compensating reactive power by the delay of a load to a switch control circuit 10 in order to obtain a previously fixed power-factor (100% in normality). The makeup or open command of the switches is simultaneously inputted to a current converting circuit 21. The current converting circuit 21 prevents the secondary side current of the current transformer 12 for a previously fixed time (one second, for example) so as to prevent excessive current flowing in the whole phase advance capacitor equipment from being temporarily inputted to the higher harmonic monitoring monitor 11 with the makeup of the switches 61-63. |
