PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system where functions of a lost radio communication device are limited, even if the radio communication device is missing in a system where data communication is conducted by connecting the radio communication device to an information processing unit. SOLUTION: This system consists of a radio communication device 105, that is provided with a radio communication function lock processing section 106 which makes an authentication negotiation with an information processing unit 101 and of the information processing unit 101, that has a security management device section 104 which manages identification information of the radio communication device 105 for controlling radio communication functions. When the radio communication device 105 connects to the information processing unit whose use is not permitted, the radio communication lock processing section 106 and the security management device section 104 make authentication negotiation by means of identification information to limit radio communication functions, depending on the negotiation result. |
