PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and ensure confirmation of the image switchable direction by an operator and enjoy a beautiful image made with the utmost power of expression without considering the operability. SOLUTION: In this switching direction display method, a memory means, a display means, a control means and an operating device are prepared, and the control means performs a step of reading and executing a program stored in the memory means, thereby displaying a main image by use of a desired main image data stored in the memory means, and a step of displaying a desired index showing the direction switchable overlapping the main image displayed at the present by use of an auxiliary image data. The index is preferably erased from the display means after the lapse of a prescribed time. |
