PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit for a capacitive load for easily generating a control signal by a digital IC and controlling it and to further reduce its size by supplying a driving voltage of a high potential to the load even without using a step-up transformer at an output. SOLUTION: The drive unit 23A for a capacitive load connected to a connecting point 27 of a PNP transistor TR1 and an NPN transistor TR2 comprises the PNP transistor TR1 of a complementary type first switching element, and the NPN transistor TR2 of a second switching element connected in series with each other between a first power source +30 V and a second power source -30 V, and two diodes D1 and D2 connected in series between the power source +30 V and the power source -30 V to respectively supply currents to the transistors TR1 and TR2 in a unidirection according to the voltages applied to the transistors TR1 and TR2. |
