PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of being easily inserted into root canals, making it possible to insert a gutta percha pin and capable of well sealing the root canals by compounding an isoprene-based powder and a sealing material. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) one kind of powder based on isoprene and (B) at least one kind of sealing material. The component A is preferably trans-polyisoprene powder, gutta percha powder, balata powder or one kind of their mixture. The component A preferably contains at least 80 wt. of trans-polyisoprene. The component A preferably has a particle diameter of 10-30 μm. The component B is preferably insoluble in water. The composition comprises the trans-polyisoprene preferably in an amount of <=50 wt. % and the sealing material preferably in an amount of <=99 wt.%. The component A preferably further contains additive such as a filler, a pharmaceutically acceptable substance, an X-ray contrast medium and a wax.
