Mechanical rigidity and natural frequency increasing device for stator in rotating electric machine

The mechanical rigidity and natural frequency increasing device includes stator teeth between slots holding a winding. Free ends of the teeth are situated at an air gap between a stator and a rotor. One yoke increases rigidity and is formed in one piece with adjacent stator teeth. It is positioned across each stator slot in order to secure the teeth in a tangential direction. The yoke is formed at the top of the slot or across the slot at a distance from its top. The width of the yoke in the direction of the slot is not less than a lower limit of typically 2-3 mm. Several yokes are formed across the slot at different distances from its top.
