A drawing-in aid contains a drive motor with gearing to reel out or rewind drawing-in strip, contained in portable housing worn on user's back. Drawing-in strip has eye to attach wiring onto. Aid has operating unit (1) with grip and switch for user to operate reel out and rewind of strip by pressing switch. Operating unit is connected to housing by connecting hose. The drawing-in aid has a drawing-in strip with an eye at its end. The strip is fed through a pipe and wiring to be drawn through pipe, is attached to eye. Operating switch is activated to pull strip with attached wiring back through pipe, switch is released when wiring appears at other end of pipe.
