PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only improve the durability of a solar battery under sun rays, but also the light energy utilizing efficiency of the battery, by arranging a light converting film which converts ultraviolet rays into visible light rays on the light receiving-side front face of the battery. SOLUTION: A solar battery device is provided with a light converting film 3 which converts ultraviolet rays into visible light rays on the light receiving side face of a solar battery 2. When the film 3 is irradiated with sun rays, the visible light rays of the sun rays pass through the film 3 as they are and irradiate the solar battery 3 and the ultraviolet rays contained in the sun rays are converted into visible light rays when they pass through the film 3 and irradiate the battery 2. Since the ultraviolet rays contained in the sun rays are converted into the visible light rays through the film 3 in such a way, the weatherability deterioration of the battery 2 using a supporting substrate 1 or a photoelectric conversion material made of an organic material can be suppressed. In addition, the sun light energy utilizing efficiency of the battery 2 can be improved, because the quantity of visible light rays in the irradiated light can be increased through the light converting film 3. |
