<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment with a thin casing. SOLUTION: A portable computer as this electronic equipment is provided with a computer main body and the computer main body is provided with a lower housing 6. To the lower housing 6, a holding mechanism 51 for holding a battery pack in a battery housing part 20 is attached. The holding mechanism 51 is provided with an operation body 52, a lock member 53 and a return spring 54. The operation body 52 is provided with an operation part 61 and a wall part 62, the wall part 62 is provided with a locking part 71 for locking the engaging part of the battery pack and the operation body 52 is movable between a lock position where the locking part 71 locks the engaging part and an unlock position where it releases the engaging part. The return spring 54 energizes the operation body 52 to the lock position. The lock member 53 is attached to the operation part 61 movably between a first position for controlling the movement of the operation body 52 and a second position for allowing the movement.</p> |
