PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a novel decoration effect by the primary molding of an inner cap, and the secondary molding of an outer cap formed of transparent or translucent synthetic resin and also by forming a cap mouth root section in the transparent or translucent shape. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a writing instrument cap 1 formed by two-color molding, the primary molding of an inner cap 5 formed of a cylindrical body 2 and a clip 3 molded integrally through a leg section 4 by using color synthetic resin is carried out. Then the secondary molding of an outer cap 7 having the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical body 2 of the inner cap 5, the outer peripheral face of the leg section 4 of the clip 3 and the surface 6a and the side faces of a clip piece 6 coated with transparent or translucent synthetic resin is carried out. The length of the mouth root section 8 of the outer cap 7 is formed longer than the length of the inner cap 5 so that the mouth root section 8 into which a writing instrument main body of the writing cap 1 is inserted is formed transparent or translucent. Also a notch can be formed on the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical body 2 of the inner cap 5 so that the interior can be seen. |
