PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object data managing method by which building data in an electronic map is efficiently managed and also photographs and images or the like as accessory information are easily registered and managed. SOLUTION: In a server machine 1, the object data is divided into basic information and additional information and independently managed. Basic information is made to be text information and additional information is adopted as information except text information such as a drawing and photograph information. Moreover, a building graphic on the electronic map and object data are interconnected. Thus, a system by which article data is easily and efficiently controlled and managed is realized. At first, only basic information of the object data is transmitted from the server machine 1 to a client machine 2. In the client machine 2, a selected screen is presented and required additional information is selected and requested to the server machine 1. Then, useless communication is avoided by giving priority to the communication of a small data quantity of basic information so that drastically efficient information communication is attained. |
