<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for separately providing the installing space of a current transformer without the use of cables by directly holding a shunt capacitor between a positive electrode and a negative electrode between which a main capacitor is held, and installing the current transformer in such a way that the transformer surrounds the shunt capacitor. SOLUTION: In a current detector, a negative electrode 2 is extended to the same length as that of a positive electrode 1 and a shunt capacitor 4 is held between the electrodes 1 and 2 similarly to a main capacitor. Then a current transformer 6 is provided in such a way that the transformer 6 surrounds the capacitor 4. It is possible to fix the transformer 6 to the capacitor 4 by winding an insulator around the transformer 6 or to insert the transformer into an insulating pipe having an outside diameter which is nearly equal to the inside diameter of the transformer 6, to fix auxiliary electrodes which can be inserted into the insulating pipe to the facing surfaces of the electrodes 1 and 2, and then, to hold the capacitor 4 between the electrodes 1 and 2 so that the auxiliary electrodes may be inserted into the insulating pipe.</p> |
