<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily focus on an operation object on a screen by providing feedback for stimulating a finger tip which is brought into contact with an operation pad when a pointer is put in focus. SOLUTION: An operation part 12 is equipped with a contact position detecting means and a touch feedback means; and the contact position detecting means detects the contact position of the finger tip on the operation pad and the operation part 12 transfers information on the contact position to a control part 14 through a sensor signal line 26. The control part 14 determines the position of a rectangular frame having the center at the current point in an image, determines a feedback area of the operation pad corresponding to a specific area of the image in the rectangular frame, and transfers information indicating the area to the operation part 12 through a feedback signal line 28. The touch feedback means gives a touch feeling which can be discriminated from a non-feedback area to the finger tip touching the feedback area corresponding to the specific area in the image in the area surrounded with the rectangular frame displayed on the display screen 22 of a display device 16.</p> |
