PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a coloring due to an interference of a reflected light originating from a reflection plate in a reflective liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: In a reflective liquid crystal display which has liquid crystal lying between the first substrate with transparent electrodes and the second substrate with pixel electrodes comprising light scattering and reflecting electrodes containing projecting and recessing parts, the central points of the projecting or recessing parts of the light scattering and reflecting electrodes are located at the positions of lattice points consisting of square or close-packed lattice points each of which being randomly moved and a portion of which being randomly removed.
