PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a power converting device by minimizing the loss of the circuit as a whole, and to supply a smooth AC voltage to a load, while suppressing switching noise. SOLUTION: For example, a cell SC11 is made up of a capacitor C1, which becomes a voltage source and switching elements S11 to S14 connected with the capacitor C1 to constitute a bridge circuit, and diodes D11 to D14 each reversely connected with the switching elements. A high-frequency current source 11 is provided in the cell SC11. Here, the high-frequency current source 11 superimposes a high-frequency current on the current flowing in the routes of a load Z, in such a way that the current flowing in each switching element becomes negative at the time, when each switching element has been changed over from the 'off' state to the 'on' state. Meanwhile, it superimposes a high- frequency current on the current flowing in the routes of a load Z, such that current flowing in each switching element becomes positive, immediately prior to each switching element changing over from the 'on' state to the 'off' state. |
