PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel having a firm coating film on it, such as a fluorescent lamp, a high-pressure discharge lamp, etc., whose protective film and/or fluorescent film are modified so as to improve a light emitting characteristic such as the radiant flux maintenance factor, etc., and also to prevent a crack of the coating film, its peeling off, etc., completely. SOLUTION: This vessel L1 comprises: a glass bulb 1; a light emitting means 3 provided in an interior of the bulb 1; and a protective film 5 consisting mainly of at least one material selected from a group consisting of lanthanum oxide and yttrium oxide, aluminum oxide, and boron oxide which is formed on an inner surface of the bulb 1. Further, a lighting fixture uses this vessel L1. |
