<p>The sack mouth is advanced between a grooved support plate and presser foot through a stitching postision, the entry end of the support plate forming an inclined guide having a longitudinal slit in which yarn engages when the sack mouth has completely passed the stitching position. A pref. pivotal cutter, operating pref. in a vertical plane, is actuated in synchronism with the sewing machine to co-operate with the edge of the slit and cut the yarn. The mechanism is automatic and simple.</p> |
