The magazine (8) for drilling rods or pipes, at the rock drilling machine (1), is at a drill carriage (3). A change system (21) has a grip (26) to take the drill rod/pipe from its position in the magazine (8). The change system (21) moves in and out of the magazine (8) on a longitudinal trolley (23) and guide rails (24). A further magazine (9) is on the other side of the drill carriage (3) to hold the piping.
