<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately execute initialization when a power source is turned on even if an unexpected stop occurs in the termination processing of a printing device. SOLUTION: A printing device is provided with a power source 5 operating the printing device, a power switch 1 operated by a user, a power control means 2 turning on or off the power source 5 based on an on or off-signal from the power switch 1 and a termination processing notice means informing a host computer of the process of a processing until the power source 5 is turned off after the off signal is outputted from the power switch 1. Whenever the respective blocks of the termination processing constituted of a plurality of blocks terminate, the termination processing notice means 2 outputs a signal showing that the block terminates to the host computer.</p> |
