PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical closure which has sufficient collapse strength against downward collapse and tensile/compression strength against tension and compression of an optical cable, without being limited to the housing style of optical fiber excessive length and has good operability of the discrimination, reconnection, and branching of an optical fiber. SOLUTION: The optical closure is equipped with a closure sleeve 2, a connection plate 3 which is housed in the closure sleeve 2 along the length, and a support plate 4 which is arranged opposite the connection plate 3 and supports the closure sleeve 2 from the inside. The connection plate 3 consists of a main plate part 3a, which extends along the length and two end surface plate parts 3b extending from both the ends of the main plate part 3 at right angles and is provided with lock hook parts 3c at the tip parts of the end surface plate parts 3b, and the support plate 4 is provided with hook claw parts 4a by folding both its end parts, so that the lock hook parts 3c and lock claw parts 4a are engaged detachably. |
