PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform ventilation of the underfloor of a housing by an outdoor machine, to prevent corrosion of the underfloor, and improve cooling efficiency by a method wherein a heat-insulated chamber is mounted on the outdoor machine of an air conditioner and by connecting the chamber to the central part of the underfloor through a duct running through a foundation or a wall. SOLUTION: A chamber 2 having functions to effect heat insulation and open and close an upper part and side parts is mounted on an outdoor machine 1 of an air-conditioner and the central part of the underfloor of a housing is connected thereto through a duct 4 running through a foundation or a wall. During operation of the air-conditioner, underfloor cold air is sucked through a duct 14 through operation of the blower 3 of the outdoor machine 1 to cool an outdoor heat-exchanger. This constitution fluidizes air in an underfloor to effect ventilation, prevents the generation of underfloor corrosion germs, and improves cooling efficiency by using underfloor cold air as cooling air. |
