PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigator capable of providing an adequate bypass, corresponding to the traffic state provided in the course of running on a route searched before starting. SOLUTION: Before running, a starting spot and a destination are registered in a spot registering means 21 from an input device 15, and a running route is searched by a route searching means 22. The running state is inputted from a direction sensor 141 or the like, a self-car position is detected by a self-car position detecting means 24, and a route in the course of running is guided by a route guidance means 25. The traffic state transmitted via, e.g. a radiowave is received with a receiver 144, and it is judged by a traffic state recognizing means 26 whether traffic is temporarily halted. A searched route, guidance and situation that traffic is temporarily halted are outputted from a displaying means 181 and a speaker 191 via an output means 23. |
