PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printer capable of correcting the forming position of an electrostatic latent image immediately after detecting the position of a photoreceptor belt and forming the electrostatic latent image at an appropriate position even in a situation that the photoreceptor belt is oblique in the width direction. SOLUTION: A position control part 1 is provided with a timing correcting function for correcting the output timing of an image signal which should be outputted at the scanning of the (n+2)th line of the electrostatic latent image, based on a difference between the position Cn of the photoreceptor belt outputted from a position sensor part 50 at the scanning of the (n)th line of the electrostatic latent image and the position Cn+1 of the photoreceptor belt outputted from the sensor part 50 at the scanning of the (n+1)th line thereof. |
