Magnetic field detector for rotation of magnetic body

摘要

The detector uses a thin film element (7) of giant magnetoresistive material e.g. nickel, iron, copper. It is placed opposite the gaps of a segmented disc rotating on the drive axle. The signal is processed by a Wheatstone bridge, differential amplifier and comparator.
