PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroencephalography capable of precisely removing the influence of mixed wink artifact and executing the measurement of a brain wave in real time even when the wink artifact is mixed during the measurement of the brain wave. SOLUTION: Based on an after-mentioned algorithm, noise component caused by the wink artifact is removed from recording data of the brain wave. The brain wave is measured as a time-series potential signal, and potential change caused by ocular motion simultaneously with the electroencephalography as an electro-oculogram. Wink generation is detected from the potential change of the measured electro-oculogram, a normalization parameter is obtained from potential change with respect to time caused by the detected wink, and data (wink artifact) of a part generating wink in time-series data on the electroencephalography is normalized by using the obtained normalization parameter to execute add-averaging concerning normalized brain wave data. Concerning add-averaged brain wave data, inverse normalizing processing is executed by using normalization parameter used for normalizing processing to obtain the estimated waveform of the wink artifact and the estimated waveform is removed from time-series data of the measured brain wave. |
