The inner room and outside units each has a housing (1,2) connected by rods (3). The cooling system incorporates the compressor (4) connected to its inlet (5) and outlet (6). The condenser (7) is connected to the compressor's outlet and to the capillary tube (8). The evaporator (9) is connected to its inlet (10) which is connected to the capillary tube. A damper of soft corrugated metal (11) piping is connected to the compressor's outlet. A noise-attenuator (12) is positioned between the inner and outer units.
