Pressure forming method for hollow profile workpiece

The method involves using a pressure generator to provide a fluid pressure supplied to the interior of the hollow profile workpiece (2) contained in a closed internal high pressure forming tool, so that the workpiece is pressed into contact with the forming tool. The workpiece and the forming tool act as friction partners, at least one of which is subjected to an oscillation. The oscillator may be formed by an oscillation generator integrated in the forming tool and having a frequency in of 0-200 Hz. An Independent claim is also included for a pressure forming device.
