PURPOSE:To widely improve a workability, while enabling an improvment of life, by means of adding a fluorine resin dispersion when a short fiber, consisting of lead or lead alloy, is added to paste. CONSTITUTION:To a mixed product, made lead powder and short fiber-state lead or lead alloy, is added a fluorine resin dispersion, for instance, water dispersion of polytetrafluoroetyhlene, and a sulfuric acid of specific gravity 1.40 is added while keeping a kneading operation, to prepare the lead paste. This lead paste is filled into a lead lattice, and a treatment of maturing and drying is processed, to obtain a plate. It is preferable for the above described short fiber of lead or lead alloy to be made in a range of dimension 0.3-3mm in diameter and 1-6mm in length by considering a point of conductivity, workability of paste preparation and a filling easiness into the lattice. And the optimum addition amount is 30-200g with respect to 1kg of lead powder. And an addition of fluorine resin, if made 0.5-10g to one kg of lead powder, provides an appropriate degree of elasticity, further with a filling easiness into the lattice not worsened. |
