WING (VANE) INCORPORATING PROVISION FOR SELF- ADJUSTMENT OF ANGLE OF ATTACK TOWARD INCIDENT FLOW OF MEDIUM

FIELD: power plants converting energy of medium to mechanical energy. SUBSTANCE: wing is mounted on moving structure for rotating about its own axis. It is provided with device that functions to vary its angle of attack by turning about its shaft through kinematic link of flap mounted on its rear edge. Angle-of-attach adjusting device has shaft one of whose ends is inserted into flap between two plates and bent up through 120-135 deg. for displacement between mentioned plates. Shaft is free to rotate and its other end is placed inside wing and kinematically linked with moving structure for stressed elastic turning in reverse direction in case of excessive operating torque of shaft. Kinematic link between part of shaft of angle-of-attack adjusting device mounted in wing and moving structure is made in the form of shaft-mounted bevel gear engageable with bevel gear provided within moving structure or in the form of flexure linkage.
