<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate sheet carrying by preventing the side shifting of a sheet carrying belt. SOLUTION: A driving roller 38 and a tension roller 40 are arranged at a specified interval in a sheet carrying direction and, by winding an endless sheet carrying belt 37 on the driving roller 38 and the tension roller 40 and driving the sheet carrying belt 37 by the driving roller 38, sheets are sequentially carried to a plurality of photoreceptor drums in the sheet carrying direction. In both ends of the inner peripheral side of the sheet carrying belt 37, projecting parts 70 and 71 engaged with the outer peripheral sides of both end surfaces 72 and 73 of the driving roller 38 and the tension roller 40 are formed. Between the driving roller 38 and the tension roller 40, belt guiding means 80 and 81 are arranged for regulating both side faces 82 and 83 of the sheet carrying belt 37.</p> |
