PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform elongation/contraction on a time base of read out the waveform data in a waveform memory read-out system sound source by controlling an address generation means so as to change a waveform reproducing time of a partial waveform among plural periodic waveforms independently of a specified pitch. SOLUTION: A waveform generation part 111 inputs a note-on being a waveform generative inspection and pitch information showing the pitch of a musical sound to be generated through a control register 113, and inputs tone color information, etc., as the other data, and generates the waveform data based on these inputted information. Particularly, the waveform generation part 111 is provided with a time elongation/contraction function elongating/ contracting a length of an output waveform on the time base independently of pitch control in addition to the pitch control when the waveform is generated by the waveform memory read-out system. Further, it performs locally or partially revision control of a time length by revision controlling a parameter elongation/contraction ratio for standard reproducing time in real time. |
