摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrode the morphological property of which is reproducibly controlled and the effective surface area of which is reproducibly increased, by discharging the heated particles of an active material onto an electrode substrate adjusted by using the hot spraying method. SOLUTION: After a pseudo-capacitive component is adjusted by coating a substrate with a pseudo-capacitive active material by using one of flame spraying methods, a melting process is started. After spraying, the coated substrate is heated at a temperature between about 100 deg.C and 300 deg.C, preferably, 250 deg.C for about one hour. Then the substrate is again heated at a temperature between about 250 deg.C and 400 deg.C, preferably, 300 deg.C for about two hours. Immediately after the second heating, the substrate is further heated at a temperature between about 350 deg.C and 800 deg.C, preferably, 400 deg.C for about two and a quarter hour. Such a three-stage heating protocol is preferable for fusing the pseudo- capacitive material on the substrate, the execution of fusing in accordance into two-, four-, or more-stages of heating protocol is also contained in the scope of this invention.
