PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform travel control corresponding to the actual road shape. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a recommendation value calculating means 101 for calculating the recommendation value of travel control based on road data, a travel control means for performing travel control based on control parameters which correspond to the recommendation value, an azimuth detecting means for detecting the present azimuth, and a road shape comparison means 104 for comparing the road shape depending on the road data to the actual road shape based on the control parameters and the changes in the present azimuth. The present azimuth is detected, and the road shape depending on the road data is compared to the actual road shape based on the control parameters and the changes in the present azimuth. The travel control can be always and easily performed corresponding to the actual road shape.
