The equipment protects a sailboard against theft, and comprises an anchoring bar (2) driven into the ground, over which the mast socket (6) of the sailboard is fitted. An auger is provided to prevent the board being lifted off the bar, which can have one or more spiral plates (7) on its portion driven into the ground, their diameter and/or pitch increasing from the bar end, which can be in the form of a drill bit. The bar can also have a cross-bar (5) fitting in the mast socket, and which can be used to turn it when driving home.
