PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceiling buried type air conditioner, smooth in the elevating operation of a suction grille, simple in structure, small in the number of parts and suitable for atmosphere. SOLUTION: A ceiling buried type air conditioner is provided with a unit main body 2, equipped with a fan 5 and buried into a ceiling or hung from the ceiling, and a decorative panel 7, equipped with a suction grille 10 at the lower part of the same. In such an air conditioner, a plurality of rotary drums 12, 25, which are driven into normal and reverse rotating directions, a plurality of motors 21, 24, driving the rotary drums, guide rollers 20, provided on the suction grille 10, and wires 13, whose one end is wound and fixed to one of the rotary drums 12, 25 and whose the other end is wound and fixed to the other of the rotary drums 12, 25 through guide rollers 20, are provided. |
