<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the stand-by power of a receiving part and a microcomputer. SOLUTION: A lighting system includes a light source 1, a lighting device 2 for driving the light source 1, a microcomputer 3 for controlling the state of the light source 1 by controlling the lighting device 2, a receiving part 5 giving a signal to the microcomputer 3 on receiving a remote control signal 4, and a signal detecting part 6 detecting the signal from the receiving part 5. When the light source 1 is turned off, the microcomputer 3 is supplied with no dc power 7 and is in a stand-by condition, while the receiving part 5 and the signal detecting part 6 are intermittently supplied with the dc power 7 and are in stand-by condition. When the signal is outputted from the receiving part 5 which receives the remote control signal 4, the dc power 7 is supplied to the microcomputer 3 in response to the signal outputted from the signal detecting part 6, and the dc power 7 is supplied continuously to the receiving part 5 and the signal detecting part 6. After the light source 1 has been turned off, when no signal appears in the output of the receiving part 5 until a predetermined time is elapsed, then the microcomputer 3 performs control so that the dc power 7 is not supplied to the microcomputer 3, as well as the dc power 7 is supplied intermittently to the receiving part 5 and the signal detecting part 6.</p> |
