摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To anionically produce a branched diene polymers having an extremely high molecular weight by using a supported type solid anionic polymerization catalyst having metal-substitutable particles including a bound rubber and substituted with a multiple metal having covalent-bonded plural group IA alkali metal atoms. SOLUTION: This supported type solid anionic polymerization catalyst is represented by the formula P(Me)n [P is a metal-substitutable particle including a bound rubber (the rubber not taken with a carbon black but attached to the carbon black, e.g. carbon black-styrene-butadiene rubber) and having about 1-1,000μm diameter; Me is a group IA alkali metal atom covalently bound to the before particle, preferably lithium; (n) is >=3]. Huge branched polymers produced by a vapor-phase anionic polymerization method by using the catalyst has an extremely high molecular weight, glass transition temperature and vinyl content, and is useful for production of various high performance vulcanized rubbers.
