<p>The joint for the transmission of motion in shafts with converging axes. It comprises two cone-shaped pinions symmetrically positioned in either side of the plane of bisection. For each couple, one of the pinions is integral with a shaft which swivels in an articulated support about an axis. This axis is parallel to the plane of bisection and is carried by a casing which joins it with its partner w.r.t. the plane. The second pinion swivels on this axis and its rotation is related to that of its partner so that the two pinions rotate in opposite directions with a constant ratio of velocities.</p> |
