PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a desired character string by discriminating the type of the character string that is called by a retrieval means based on the discrimination information and outputting the retrieved character string in a form that is decided by the discriminated type of the character string. SOLUTION: One of plural character strings which are stored in a clip board data storage area 102-3 is selected and called at the current cursor position. Then the type of the called character string is discriminated by inquiring a character type discrimination dictionary area 102-4 and a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion dictionary area 102-5 with an n-th range designation character string or an n-th division character string used as a key. The called character string is outputted in the sequence that is decided based on the type of the character string and in a display form to which the character string showing the discriminated type is added. As a result, a desired character string can be easily selected and the time and labor needed for inputting again the character string that is once inputted can the eliminated. |
