The invention concerns a plough wherein the articulation is arranged between the front section (5) and the rear section (7), comprising two perpendicular pins (11 and 12) forming a cardan universal joint. The rear section (7) is linked to the front section (5) via actuators (17). Said actuators (17) consist each of a couple of coaxial actuating cylinders (19, 20), arranged at some distance from the articulation pins. Said actuators are controlled from the tractor, by means of a first reversing valve (30) activated by means sensitive to the pressure prevailing in the circuit powering the jacks (16) for lifting the fixture, and by the reversing valves which power respectively each of the actuators (17). In normal ploughing position, the operator can control the rear section movement by adjusting the resistance to movement between a null value up to a quasi-rigidifying value. When the bodies are lowered, the operator can intervene to lift the rear section, thereby delaying the penetration of the bodies to reduce the land dimension.
