The cupboard door (10) etc. has a core (12) and an outer skin at least partially covering it. A form-stable hollow outer skin body (14) is manufactured from at least one outer skin material. A core material (18) containing a filler of wood chips and a hardening binding agent, is introduced into the outer skin body through filler openings, and hardened in situ. At least one of the openings is located in a place, where a hinge etc. is positioned later. The outer skin body is manufactured from a binding material, which contains a real timber laminate, a stiffening webbing layer, and a plastically deformable base layer of thermoplastic synthetic foil.
