PURPOSE: A navigation device for a vehicle and a navigating method are provided to obtain exact vehicle navigation by determining an actual driving road with precise 3D locating of a vehicle on overpass and underpass roads. CONSTITUTION: A navigation device for a vehicle comprises a sensor unit(110), a dead reckoning(DR) unit(120), a map matching unit(130), and a display unit(150). The sensor unit comprises one or more sensors. The DR unit calculates dead reckoning on the basis of the data obtained by the sensor unit. The map matching unit matches location to 3D maps on the basis of map information of a navigation device and the data obtained by the sensor. |
