PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp capable of easily and speedily cleaning or replacing the discharge tube in connection with deterioration of the light-emission characteristic, defects in the discharge tube, etc., due to the dust in a discharge tube and change of the light color. SOLUTION: The internal electrode 22 of a conductive rod is inserted into the center hole of the double-tube discharge tube 20 including the discharge gas in its inside space 21. The holders 40a and 40b are removably fixed at both sides of the internal electrode 22 by means of a fixing screw. The protection tube 30 enclosing the external electrode 23 of the discharge tube 20 is fixed to the holder 40 via a sealing member 31, a pressure block 32 and a pressure ring 33. A cooling water, etc., is led to the communication space 45 to be provided between the internal electrode 22 and the discharge tube 20 holder 40.
