PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the rectum wall to be sufficiently expanded by equipping at least three beams on a tool to be inserted into the rectum through the anus to expand and hold the anus and the rectum, connecting one ends of the beams to an anus fixing ring at prescribed intervals, and an expanding balloon on the other ends of the beams. SOLUTION: Before inserting this expander for operation under per' anus endoscope into the anus, fluid in an expanding balloon 9 is sufficiently sucked through a one way valve 19 and a balloon expanding tube 18 to make the expanding balloon in a contracted condition. Then, the beams 10 and a protective sheet 13 equipped to cover the beams 10 are grabbed to insert the expanding balloon 9, in a condition forming a cone shape, sides of the beams 10 into the anus. After inserting into the anus, an anus fixing ring 11 is fixed to the anus. Then fluid such as air, etc., is injected into the expanding balloon 9 through the one way valve 19 to expand those and radially enlarging the beam 10 and the protective sheet and the balloon expanding tube 18 to secure a space for forceps treatment in the rectum wall. In that condition, the ablation operation of a tumor is carried out. |
