PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the rope facilitating an end portion-fixing treatment at a site, having high reliability, capable of enhancing transportation efficiency and useful as a reinforcing material for civil engineering structures, construction structures, etc., by immersing a fiber rope having ring portions at both the ends with a thermosetting resin and subsequently curing the resin. SOLUTION: This method for producing a strained rope for reinforcement comprises folding back both the end portions of a fiber rope 1 formed from aramide fibers and/or carbon fibers to form ring portions 2, respectively, immersing the fiber rope 1 with a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin or an epoxy polyester resin and subsequently curing the resin. After the fiber rope is immersed with the thermosetting resin, jigs 4 for strain are preferably fit into the ring portions 2, followed by curing the resin. |
