PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability and white rust resistance of a hot dip Al-Zn alloy coated steel sheet. SOLUTION: Relating to the hot dip At-Zn alloy coated steel sheet containing 20 to 95 wt.% Al in a plating film, the ratio of Al concentration between a part [z] having the lowest Al concentration in the plating film and a dendritic part [d], z /d, is regulated to 0.20-1.0. It is preferable to regulate the coating weight of the plating film per side to $45g/m.
