PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the check and maintenance under the floor plate of a driver's seat while forming a brake pedal capable of being sprung up by forming a rod brake lower of a link mechanism of an upper and a lower divided bodies, and connecting both the upper and the lower divided bodies to each other with a pin freely to be folded. SOLUTION: A rod brake lower 11 is connected to a brake pedal 2 at a lower end thereof, and connected to an L-shaped link 4, which can be freely turned, at an upper end thereof, and formed of divided bodies of an upper rod 11A and a lower rod 11B. The upper rod 11A and the lower rod 11B are connected to each other by a pin 11C freely to be folded. Consequently, when the brake pedal 2 is operated, since the rod brake lower 11 becomes straight, the ordinary brake function is obtained, and in the case of springing up the brake pedal 2, since the rod brake lower 11 is folded at the intermediate part thereof, the brake pedal 2 is sprung up to the vertical condition, and a part under the brake pedal 2 is opened large. |
