<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dioxins treating device by which the dioxins contained in exhaust gas are efficiently and appropriately decomposed and the power consumption is decreased to reduce the running cost. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a plasma type exhaust gas treating device 4 furnished in a discharge passage 2 for an exhaust gas discharged from a dioxins generating source, introducing the exhaust gas, generating charged particles by a plasma discharge and removing the dioxins in the exhaust gas, a measuring means arranged respectively before and behind the stages of the exhaust gas treating device in the discharge passage and measuring the NOX concn, in the exhaust gas, an arithmetic means 10 for calculating the charged energy necessary to treat the dioxins corresponding to the NOX concn. measured by measuring means in the treating device 4 based on the relation between the previously obtained decrease rate in the dioxins concn. and the decrease amt. in the NOX in the treating device 4 and a control means 11 for controlling the charged power to produce the plasma in the treating device 4 based on the calculated results in the arithmetic means 10.</p> |
