PRODUCTION OF DRAWN FILM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled product having excellent physical properties and producible in high productivity over a long period without causing troubles such as gelation, by using a composition produced by compounding a specific modified polyamide resin to a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) A saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is compounded with (B) a polyamide resin satisfying the formula wherein A is number of terminal carboxyl groups and B is terminal substituted amide groups of formula -CONRR' (R is 1-22C hydrocarbon group; R' is H or 1-22C hydrocarbon group) at a weight ratio (A/B) of 98/2-2/98. The resin composition is formed in the form of a film, which is drawn and heat-set to obtain the objective product. The component B can be produced e.g. by the polycondensation of a raw material for polyamide such as epsilon-caprolactam in the presence of a 1-22C monoamine such as methylamine.
